  • Public Relation Officer (PRO): You need a Master’s in Defense Studies.
  • Clerk: You need an Intermediate degree.
  • Civil Driver: You need a Matric certificate.
  • Sweeper (Sanitary Worker): You need a Matric certificate.
  • Cook: You need a Middle school certificate.
  • Fireman: You need an Intermediate certificate.

  • Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI): You cannot join ISI directly after Matric. You need a related degree.

Yes, you can join the army after passing Matric (10th grade). The age limit is usually 17 to 35 years. You must be at least 5 feet 3 inches tall.

You can join as:

  • Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs): These are not officers but can grow in ranks.
  • Sepoy: Basic soldier job. Salary: PKR 35,000–120,000.
  • Lance Naik, Naik, Havildar: Higher ranks for soldiers.
  • Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs): Higher than NCOs.
    • Naib Subedar, Subedar, Subedar Major: Command soldiers.
  • Civilian Jobs:

Joining the Pak Army After Intermediate Education: Expanding Your Horizons

Many young people want to join after 12th grade. They love their country and want to serve.

You can join through:

Technical Cadet Course (TCC):

  • Age: 17–22 years
  • Unmarried
  • Education: ICS or FSc Pre-Engineering (65%)
  • You train for 1 year and study at NUST for 4 years. Then you become a Captain.

PMA Long Course:

  • Age: 17–22 years
  • Education: Intermediate
  • Unmarried
  • You train for 2 years and get a monthly stipend.

Army Medical Cadets (MBBS/BDS):

  • Age: 17–21 years
  • FSc Pre-Medical with 70%
  • Must pass MDCAT or NUMS
  • Get military and medical training, then become Captain Doctor.

Armed Forces Nursing Service (AFNS Females):

  • Age: 17–25 years
  • Matric 60%, FSc Pre-Medical 50%
  • You get a BS Nursing degree and become a Lieutenant.

  • Train for 6 months
